Wild Flowers, Mommy, and Me - Mini Sessions in Purcellville Virginia

I'm just going to start off by saying, we did have the intention of hanging out in the wild flowers in this very same field.

But the energy of these two little ones saw that open field and gave mom a run for her very hard earned and well spent money.

There is something so sacred to me when a mom is in front of my camera and forgets its there.

She hears the prompts, she welcomes them, and then she turns them in to all her own and creates this magic that you would only see if you were visiting her house on a Sunday afternoon when she is playing with her kids, as dinner simmers, the house shows evidence of the weekend fun, and you feel like you could live in this afternoon forever.

This is not about perfection. This is about gratitude and presence. This is about full hearts and games we used to play. This is about joy and memories and capturing it all as in unfolds right in front of me.

And every once in a while, time slows down and stands still and we have a little moment of quiet - just for mom to catch her breath and find the tiny bit of effervescence she needs to re-energize and do it all over again.

Well... you could end up in a lush green grass open field with the sunset saying good night in the miraculous way that it does.

But you will always have 20 minutes of guided session time, with prompts to help you connect and engage, and opportunities to allow it to take a life of its own and create a family photo session that is actually all its very own.

This gallery is going to be filled with moments you created, genuinely, with your littles. moments filled with whatever your joy looks like to you.

While YOU are actually in the frame smiling in that way that only those closest to you know - where it touches your eyes and makes your nose wrinkle and makes you throw your laughs to the sky because this moment is just that good.

This is the way ebb and flow helps shape the best family photo galleries. We had a plan to create something and life gave us an opportunity to make it even more magical.
